Use of media and methods in time management
There is a large market for time management assistants. From a simple appointments diary via special software to costly seminars - everything is possible. Certainly, these assistants can provide a system for your time management. However, one thing they cannot: increase the available time budget! The planning responsibility lies exclusively with the sales representative. He is in charge of investing his time profitably and to keep his system up-to-date at all times.
Representative for the available time management assistants we could mention Timesystems.
If you prefer the low-cost method, you can use any type of standard
software provided by major manufacturers. If you buy a software package such
as MS-Office you will obtain "Outlook", a good solution for projects
and time management. Here you can see the Outlook form for project management:
Objectives, tasks, and time management for sales representatives
Objectives lead to tasks. Tasks take up time. We can distinguish between short, medium and long term tasks as well as between permanent or once only tasks.

The listing demonstrates that planning security diminishes with tasks which
are unique and which confront the sales representative at short notice. In contrast,
permanent tasks can be scheduled with great certainty. The time budget should
be dealt with accordingly. In addition to time scheduled for permanent tasks,
good time management also provides reserves for "urgent needs" as
defined by category A of the Eisenhower principle.
